Residents volunteered at Project Open Hand 2014

On Saturday December 6th, several of our residents (and some of their very thoughtful significant others) traveled to the Tenderloin to volunteer at Project Open Hand. Project Open Hand is a non profit organization that provides nutritious meals and healthy groceries for San Franciscans battling life threatening illnesses.

Nancy, Angela, Niki, Gina, and Alex had fun chopping up roots and vegetables to be served for some of San Francisco's neediest residents. It was a great experience and we have already made plans to return!
