Three UCSF Pediatric Dentistry residents were selected as finalists for the 2014 AAPD Resident Research Competition. Winners will be announced on Saturday, May 24th, 2014 at the AAPD Annual Session in Boston, MA.

1. Dr. Joshua Connolly was selected as one of the eight finalists for 2014 NuSmile GSRA (graduate student research awards) competition for his oral presentation, "A New Perspective on Pulpal Therapy in Vital Primary Molars”.

2. Dr. Wendy Yang was selected as one of the finalists at My Kids Dentist Research Poster Competition for her poster, "The Effect on ECC of Incorporating Fluoride into Roatan Immunization Clinics."

3. Dr. Julio Sotillo was selected as one of the finalists at My Kids Dentist Research Poster Competition for his poster, " Presentation and Management of Ectrodactyly-Ectodermal Dysplasia-Cleft (EEC) syndrome.”
